Re: OPPP"S I DID IT AGAIN!
Its got regular drums, they can be tricky, but if properly adjusted they will work fine for the speeds that a stock A will cruise. Everything on these cars is a mechanics dream, all very serviceable, and has to be serviced often..lol I put the new radiator in yesterday, and started to put the new lighting harnes in, and am missing some pieces so its gonna rest till I get the pieces ordered..No rush..
Re: OPPP"S I DID IT AGAIN!
It must be the Model Ts that had the sheetmetal drums or the early As.

That thing is sweet. I would definitly have to agree that you shouldn't cut it up, and any thing you do to it should be reversable. There so few left that are close to original.

Hey...if ya want to see something original, go to a museum. It takes a good car to make a good hot rod, and as the saying goes:" Anybody can restore a car but it takes a real man to cut one up."

Re: OPPP"S I DID IT AGAIN!
a mild chop or tastefull cutting will work but if you are going radical or want one of those so called rat rods, whatever that is there is plenty of junk out there to cut up.Mr. Fabulous wrote:Hey...if ya want to see something original, go to a museum. Re: OPPP"S I DID IT AGAIN!
It will stay un-chopped, un channeled, full fender, with a mildly hopped up 40 h.p. banger for a bit. I need to get it tagged so I can put some miles on it.. I think I'm gonna get my tires mounted up 1st of the week..
