Edelbrock's "Super Victor" intake manifolds deliver massive power all the way up to 8,000 rpm. The extended, constant cross section runners produce great mid-range short track power, better throttle response off the corners, and improved 60 foot times at the drag strip. The direct "line-of-sight" flow path to the cylinders provides minimum restriction and maximum flow for outstanding performance.

That is why it wouldn't work on your engine.
For use with raised-port, 23 degree heads.
Compatible with aftermarket heads, such as Edelbrock 775569
