Temporarily put the old fuel filter back on.adjusted the carb. Started work on the holes from the roof rack and chrome ribs from the roof, also removed the cb antenna and filled that hole as well. I'm not very skilled at body work so its slow going, but the only way to learn is to jump in with both feet and learn from my mistakes.

First short jaunt with the wagon. A small glitch with the fans but otherwise a good run. Maybe another short run later.

Alright, i give up. Wagon runs great for a few days then starts acting crazy. Won't idle, falling on it's face, oil pressure drops. Was 25 - 50 lbs now 5 - 30lbs. I'm thinking of pulling the 355 and call it a year. Frustrated beyond belief, was hoping to take it down to Somernites cruise this weekend.

I've got a 400 4 bolt main that I'm rebuilding. Its been a fight with the 355 for almost two years. I think I'm gonna cut my losses, pull it and focus on the 400. I'm almost to the point that I want to find something different, maybe a little older to work on,

Put a clutch fan back on and a different water pump. Maybe that will take care of the temp issue. She started right up, ran a little rough then started falling on her face like she ain't getting gas all the time, thinking drugs in the tank. I'll try blowing back through the fuel line and see how she acts.

Thanks, hope the knock is something simple. You're probably right they're cursed.
