Re: Short trip
That's the A&W Root Beer, Its just closed for the season. You try and go there throughout the summer and you cant find a spot. Its a great place to grab a few foot-longs and a gallon of root beer. I've been down in Corbin twice in the past month. My family is from down in those parts.

Re: Short trip
Dog had these. He was kind enough to cut me a great deal on them. Thanks again Dennis! These have a little bit of a history with me. They were on my 34 Dodge when i first got it. They didn't match the car so I took them off after a while. later I donated them to the Scroungers Falcon Gasser project. they are now back home with me. I'm going to use the front 14X5's on the 54 Chevy Truck. I have a pair for the back. Rear 15X10's will be put in stock and the first of my parts I'm collecting for a future gasser project.
Thanks again Dog!

Re: Short trip
One someone opened up for a Chevy bolt pattern the other was never messed with. Direct Ford. They are too wide anyway. They will go in stock for another project. Fronts will work fine.big dogs 42 wrote:Well did the big one fit under the rear ?

Re: Short trip
Wonder how wide that axle would be. I'm wanting an early 50's car for a gasser. Some of those are pretty narrow.

Re: Short trip
If you take measurements grab the number from the center pin on the leaf springs to each other. Right in the middle of where the springs would sit in the axle. That would let me know how close the springs would be to fitting on the frame.
