Re: few Gasser pics
Always did like that black one. Built a 1/24 scale slot car based on that one, a guy had to have it the first race I took it to. Bought another body to build a copy, but never got it finished.

Bill Tate's Dodge. 1/2 done is his forum name on here. He does good work. His sheet metal skills are beyond what 99% of people can do.

Re: few Gasser pics
Way beyond me too. It's a lost art form for sure. Seem like I never have the time or the money but I'd like to take some professional tin bending classes. I see people like Gene Winfield doing these classes but really wonder if it's what I'd like. Never done it so I don't know but if it's just watching him chop a top or basic hammering, bending whatever stuff I wouldn't want to do it. I want someone to tell me to do something I haven't done and push me. After I screw it all up they can tell me the correct way to do it. I'll try it but normally I take what I did and what someone else tells me to do and mix it up to my way of thinking and it works for me.Chris55 wrote:Reb Stew wrote:Bill Tate's Dodge. 1/2 done is his forum name on here. Re: few Gasser pics
I always wanted to signed up for a metal shaping weekend by Ron Covell, but they are way to spendy for me. I just generally keep hitting stuff with a hammer till it looks right.

Has a great look to it. Right down to the red breathers. I would have never thought of that.
