If you like gassers don't mis the hot rod renuion next year at beach bend never in my life have i saw as many as were their sat. and they werent just for show they ran the (beep) out of them john  would have been proud of the falcon gasser with the 540 in it !! there was also a willies coupe with a 250 big ones price tag on it that was done to the max that the guy wasent afraid to run it either and the hemi under glass was the last time they said it would be seen on the strip anywhere  i was glad i was there to see it! i normally don't talk much about show but that was outstanding in my books!!!I will be there next year also count on it !!!

Yeah, I think there's a difference between "Gassers" and "Street Freaks" but that's just my humble opinion.  Back in the 70's Street Freaks were all the rage all jacked up and wandering all over the road.  In the late 60's I jacked my old Ford up front and back until the headlights were about eyeball high.  You couldn't drive it much more than 35 MPH but it was cool to cruise the beach in up home.  It was only like that for one summer.  I wonder why.........

Sorry but I have always liked that 55, was my screen saver for a long time. Hows about this one? (you'll notice he's at the strip) guess I kinda have a soft spot (most think it's under my hat) for street freaks.

I didn't say I didn't like them. They are still Gassers to me. Just more on the hard core side.
