I have always heard that a family that works and plays together, stays together. Your family sure fits that billing.

I just wish the boys would be doctors or something other than grease monkies. Corey has shown interest in structural engineering or some type of drafting job but Aryan is full blown gear head. I just hope they are happy with whatever they do and make a little money so it's not so hard on them getting by when they are older. Grease monkies don't make any $$. Even the late, great Ed Roth was poor longer than he was better off.silveradolady wrote: I have always heard that a family that works and plays together, stays together. Yeap. I was sitting last night letting the fire die down in the pot belly stove wondering about a paint job. Your name popped in my head with some art work and lettering I want to do on it. Not sure if you have time to play with junk like this and it will be spring before it sees paint but I have some cool ideas.LOCO64 wrote:STEVE I KNOW IM NEW ON HERE...BUT ARE YA BUILDIN WHAT I THINK YA ARE?........A GASSER?

mud work is done on the drivers door and the inner fenders where the shock towers use to be. I'll try to get the door and under the hood in primer tomorrow.

Re: Scroungers C.C. 1964 Falcon Drag Car
Dennis dropped off the cash for the lug nuts for our mags, Thanks Big Dog! We need someone to step up and purchase the dual master for it. I was gonna get one from a junkyard but it's should be cheap enough and safer to just buy a new one from Advance or some place. One from a ?? 68 mustang drum and drum should work. Any takers on getting it??

67' Mustang is what is needed so I've got you covered on this one. Is the gasser all drum brakes or disc/drum? It's kind of important. See ya!

Re: Scroungers C.C. 1964 Falcon Drag Car
Mr. Vickers, Amy and myself pushed the gasser out for a few pics. Aryan had to put on his racing helmet so he could drive.
The door got primerd too. There is one dent in it I still need to fix but other than that & prep it's finished.

The 460 and c6 is over 800 pounds so I'm sure the front end will have to come up when it's put in.JRiggs wrote:man that thing looks good..

Aryan is still young. Give him time. A little older and the girls start might slow him down too. Just a matter of wait and see.
