Re: Scroungers C.C. 1964 Falcon Drag Car
That looks to have a red dash, unless someone panted it, and that does'nt look like my old axle either, Those axles had a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern, and that looks like a chevy wheel on there which I think is 5 on 4.75 b.p. Hell who knows...
Re: Scroungers C.C. 1964 Falcon Drag Car
Steve,
Call me about this tomorrow, I think I may tackle the axle instrall, joey may take longer than I want...I wanna see if you kept any notes....

Re: Scroungers C.C. 1964 Falcon Drag Car
So with the Speedway Springs and hangers, I think I can figure it out, I am starting to pull and switch the rear end this weekend....
Re: Scroungers C.C. 1964 Falcon Drag Car
Let me know when you get the front end stuff and I'll stop up. One of the new guys has a set of 40 Ford spindle on here for sale. I think that is what the Speedway kit uses unless you are just buying the whole kit as a package deal.falconwagon62 wrote:So with the Speedway Springs and hangers, I think I can figure it out, I am starting to pull and switch the rear end this weekend....

If this wouldn't have been such a conflict of interest I would have bought this car from the club. I miss it.

Shooting to build one in the next two years if all goes right. Crazy to have to plan out things years in advance but too many other things need done around the Stewart's household.

I wish we still had the drag car. I hadn't been in the club long and we had a work session on it. It was a lot of fun hanging with everyone. I learned a lot just from watching the different things we were doing on it.
