I can't wait for this weather to start getting warmer so I can go outside and start working on her. I freeze too easy so if it's below 50 degrees I can't stand it.

Re: Amy's 57 210 wagon
Amy's girls night out started off on the wrong foot today. She was going to get her sister when the wheel fell off while she was driving. She run it on the drum for a while getting it off the road. I'm not sure what happen yet. We put the wheels on and I double checked them when some of the guys where helping me put them on. About two weeks after that I rechecked them. They were fine. One stud is broke and the rest are fine. I'm not sure if the lug nuts backed off or if someone did it. I would think they backed them selves off but about two years ago I had a wheel fall off my 8 lug truck when I turn the end of my block. It messed up my bed and again it broke one stud and no other lug nuts were found on the ground within the block. While Corey and myself were trying to get the 57 jacked up I was thinking about the truck and then ol' man Cook pulled up. He owns Cook's Auto. He ask what happen? I told him I guess the lug nuts backed off where they wasn't tight. He open his eye and said you know the lady down the street from you pulled into the shop yesterday with her lugs loose. So now I'm wondering if someone is having fun or if it was just a fluke.

Re: Amy's 57 210 wagon
It messed up the 1/4 and scared the inside of the rim. The tire looked pretty bad jammed up in the 1'4's lip but after I kicked the tire out of the fenderwell it didn't look to bad.

I hate to say it but after I seen the rear bumper dragging the ground I know This thing has to be lowered.

Re: Amy's 57 210 wagon
That stinks! I'm sorry to hear bout the wagon. I guess I'll be looking at my lugs every time I go to leave now. Thats like my tires getting slashed 6 months ago. Except it looks like yours may be a bit more expensive to fix.
Well, on the bright side at least no one was hurt. I'm glad you are ok Amy and you weren't in the process of getting on the freeway.

Re: Amy's 57 210 wagon
Thats crazy. We took that to Carter county and back, imagine that on the highway like Benjamin said. You've been cruising that everywhere. It does happen but I think someone did it.

Re: Amy's 57 210 wagon
I'm not sure. Some of those rims are good for flexing a bit and backing off lugs if they are not good and tight. I'm 100% sure when the wheel came off my truck that someone did it. So it does make me wondewr about this one. With cook saying that the car down the street came in with the lugs loose makes it worse. I hope it was a fluke and they just came loose. If I was to catch someone doing it in the midle of the night someone may be taking a swim with a brick around his neck. I'm not sure if someone did it that they know they are putting my wife and kids in danger and could be killed on the open highway. Kind of like goofy kids that throw rocks off over pass's. Joe and I was talking about that the other day. Someone did that to Shelly and messed up the roof on theUV. It freaked her out but just think if it would have went through the windshield. All I can say is if they are doing it they better pray I don't catch 'em.RustyKarr wrote:Thats crazy. We took that to Carter county and back, imagine that on the highway like Benjamin said. Re: Amy's 57 210 wagon
I'm glad I wasn't on the highway too! I heard a weird noise so I turned around at Bobby Macky's. By the time I got to 10th & Isabella the car slammed down and I barely made it across the intersection. Yes it does look better lowered, I've said that for awhile now. I thought the noise was the drive shaft or the exhaust.. Never would I think it would've been the tire. I guess my sister will have to wait a little longer for a ride...
