got another can of primer yesterday from koi, cost was $16.33. i have one full can and 3/4 of another. hope to have it sprayed tonight.

Went it to garage last night started more taping I had skip the front bumper due to the small section of chrome on the bumper thats a pain to tape. Not to much longer stewart showed up, got more instructions on what i needed to do. He left came back within an hour or so. More taping and a little more prep work. Man was it HOT. Within another hour or so johnny bennett and cutlass jeff showed up. Stewart grapped the gun and started spraying, then jeff then johnny and then i finially took a shot after the majority of it was done. lol. I'm not sure what was wrong but it wasnt laying down good. Got the hole car sprayed and ran out of materials.

The four of us jumped into to cutlass jeff's dually and headed for meijer. Walked around couldnt fine any flat black primer. So we called it a night this was at 2oclock this morning. I woke up this morning headed towards advance they didnt have anything either. Went back to koi got another gallon of thinner and another quart of primer. total cost 26.00.

If you shoot it tonight you need to make sure it's late. It was just too hot in the garage to lay down a wet coat. We tried different mixes but nothing was working. The car was just too hot from sitting in that enclosed garage all day. We had fun though and now you have a good base. You need to sand that hood where the paint raised and that goop on the header panel. If there is a way to get that car rolled back about a foot would be nice. It's to hard to get around the front.

It was cool to see Johnny and Jeff stop by. There was more goofing off than primering. As Riggs said we all took turns shooting it.

Like I said we goofed off more than worked.

Entertainment for the night was the hundreds of waterbugs running up and down the alley. You couldn't sit on the wall there was so many. Nasty little critters. We must have stepped on 30 of them when we seen them come out. Tried to get them to race, that didn't work. Shot one with some reducer. then Johnny figured he'd play baseball with them. That's a plastic bat in the other hand. Trying to pick one up was one of the funniest things I have seen in a while.


I think one got a little too close to climbing up is arm. He was moving pretty fast.

We wasn't drinking but I think we had a slight buzz from the primer shooting and no mask.

Pretty cool night again. We hung out to about 3 am. Me, Riggs, Jeff, Johnny, Howie and Joe stopped in for a while. Got the Olds primered out and untaped. Looks pretty good. No waterbug racing tonight.

yeah i tinted the taillights and the side marker lights. ill get some updated pics soon.
