That's just from your truck being slammed to the ground.

Re: Stewart's 1954 Chevy Shop Truck
I'll let the bed dry for a week or two and then sand it down with 320 grit. that will get the hi spots off the poly and then put on my 3rd coat of poly. She should look like it's wet by the time I'm done.

Re: Stewart's 1954 Chevy Shop Truck
The old tool box is screwed in but can be taken out easy if I need to hall any 4X8 sheets. The gas filler will lay under the bed if I do need to put anything big in it. I'm also going to put the top tray in the tool box to carry some common tools we all need at times.
When I need gas I'll just open the tool box and in it goes.

Re: Stewart's 1954 Chevy Shop Truck
Great idea on the tool box. You don't need a locking gas cap with that... just lock the box.
