Sick of it. I need to move! Empty Sick of it. I need to move!

Post by RebStew February 2nd 2012, 6:37 am

I hope this house sells when it goes on the market. I'm so fed up with all the garbage down here. I was sitting in the car tonight before I walked in the house and was thinking about Bucko. Johnny Stamper stopped by here and told me two guys shot him as he walked in his house. They killed him. Butch said his wife was on the phone with him and he told her to set the table for dinner he was in the driveway coming in. They shot him 3 or 4 times from what I was told while his wife was on the phone with him. Leaving his little boy and wife to try to get along in life without him.

This all happen two blocks from my house. Evil or Very Mad

As I sit in the car I see Newport Police flying down my street. Then there goes a few more. Then I hear sirens coming from up the street. It was crazy. I pull around the corner and go down towards the projects. Cop cars are all over the place. I get out and walk into the projects. As I'm standing there, here comes Ft. Thomas Police, Highland Height Police and some fire trucks from our city. You guessed it. Someone got shot. People were running like roaches all over the place. Not sure if the guy that got shot passed away or not. I come on home.

I'm not sure what is going on with people anymore. At least years ago if you got shot there was a good reason. Now a day people just shoot you for the fun of it seems like.

I don't understand it myself Reb! It seems that people have no morals anymore and they don't care what the consequences are and who they effect when they're committing a crime.

That being said, I hope your family sells the house quickly, so you all can live in a peaceful area and not have to worry whether someone will be hurt from your household. Honestly, I couldn't live in that type of environment and am fortunate not to.

yep, time to go, I know you like the old town, but comes a time a man must take care of the family, for a man who don't tend to his own house, is worse than a non beliver....or somthing like that...I read that somewhere....that's why I like it out here in the corn field, pease and quiet.....

Sad thing is you can't get completely away from it. Even here. A couple of years ago a guy that used to hang out at my house when he was a kid was shot and killed after he crashed at a party. Daryl was asleep on the couch when these three punks came back after the party to rob the owner. They shot him seven times. They didn't get anything and Chris got away by jumping out the window. When they left Chris came back in the house and called the EMT's but it was too late.

What's really screwed up!! They all three got 10 to 20 for Second Degree Murder! Evil or Very Mad They all admitted shooting him but it couldn't be proved which shot acctually killed him. Mad All three should have ridden the lightning!!

Yes I did, and then they opened two section 8 apartment complexes within five min. of my house. In the first two months my truck was broken into twice, an elderly woman was beaten and robbed in her own home (two streets away), and the stores up the road had to put in security teams. While at Lowes someone tried to brake the lock on my trailer (which was empty). I could go on and on, but you get the picture.

It's a shame. Most of the time when I leave I carry my sidearm. If it's late I have it in the holster and just carry it to the car and put it on the front seat. Bad part about it is if a shooter gets behind you without you knowing it they will shoot you before you know it. Even carring it in my hand you have to drop what you have, turn chuck it from it's holster and aim. sounds easy but if someone is gonna get ya they can. You just have to watch and hope you see them in time. I don't think Bucko knew what hit him from the way it sounds. Looks like he would have seen them when he pulled into the driveway unless they were hiding.

I grew up in Centerville, my parents lived there until 2006. 42 years in the same house and I can only think of 2 instances of crime, my dad's Escort radar detector around '85 and the house behind them was robbed in '68. Not sure what section you lived in but I can't really think of a bad area other than Chevy Chase apartments. But then I haven't lived there since '87.

Chevy Chase is still a pit, and getting worse. Next time you get a chance, pick up a Centerville/Washington Township news and look at the police reports, something every day in Chevy Chase. We lived off of Wilmington Pike, right where Centerville, Sugarcreek, and Bellbrook come together. We also own retal houses over on Franklin in C-ville, and off of Paragon and Springvalley in Washinton Township. The lady across the street from one of the Wash. Twsp. houses had her car stollen from her garage (she forgot to shut the door one night, the insurance tried to say it was her fault, go figure. Rolling Eyes ) Our tenant on Franklin was harassed by a group of kid getting out of his car in front of his house. And my oldest son had not one, but two cellphones stollen from his car at C-ville High school. Just last year a little girl walking home from Cline elem. had a guy in a truck try to pick her up. Yes C-ville was a very nice place, thats why we moved there, but times they are a changen.
