Forum renewed for another year

For years we pull in so many hits that we got our forum and domain name for free each year. I always said if the forum doesn't get enough hits that we have to pay cash I'd let it go. Not sure how but we managed to pull it off again this year. The forum use has dropped 80%. I take it that it is because of Facebook. Most of the club use that to talk to each other. Either way we are good for another year year Enjoy the forum. I like it better than FB but I'm only one person. Dropping the FB Scroungers Page would not help. I think it's here to stay. Even if it did dop I don't think people would go back to the forums like they use to.

I know I'm not a member, but I like the SCC forums.I'm on it everyday sometimes I log in sometimes I don't. I'm like you I like it better than FB.I've never been on FB. Here I'll stay..............as long as it's on.

I rarely use FB any more. I'm on the forum every day. Too much drama on the other. I'm not into drama, I just want to work on my cars and keep up with my friends.

I know I'm a new guy, and not yet an official club member, but I hope this forum stays around beyond this year. I want to have nothing to do with Facebook. To me FB is the cyber equivalent of a 7th grade lunchroom...10 helpings of mind numbing pointless drama for every palatable helping of mystery meat.

I check in here more than the FB page even though I just got accepted on FB. I like the feel of a forum better than social media. Hopefully I can get an Arkansas chapter started and get some more website traffic to help keep it going.
