I must admit- being more than one color, and not a two tone, makes it a redneck project without question!

Old truck is rough but with some help it will be a little better. The square lights had to go. Sami is swapping them out for some round ones.

One tire was shot. We bought two. Sooner or later we will get the other two.

Cherokee find the new truck boring and still prefers her red one to sleep in.

With the body lift it left a 3" gap above the bumper. I was going to make some brackets to lift it but ran across a tube bumper.

We also score a $400.00 + cowl hood for $140.00. Brand new in a box but someone stepped on the box. and crush it from the cowl to the corner. I got it home and planted me feet into the nose of it and gave it a couple twist and she was good as new.

I took it off a couple days ago. I didn't get a chance to make the bottom brackets yet and didn't want to bend the top one up if I hit a tree or Honda Smile

Pretty cool project. Are you planning on cleaning it up, slapping some paint on it and then flipping it? Or is this a keeper?

Later,

Lee

P.S. Awesome deal on that hood!

Nothing is a keeper for the right money other than our Firebirds. That's what pays the bills. It will be here until we get tired of playing with it then it will be sold. It may be 7 years it may be 7 days. Normally something that has a purpose sticks around for a while. So far it's been worth it to get around on the property.

Blue ovals preferred, but this one looks like a keeper to me. I like it.

My is more of a white trash trailer park truck, it hasn't moved in the yard in 2 1/2 yrs.

I like the bumper and the roll bar, would like to get one for mine to once I start on it someday.
