When I decided to rebuild the 283 in the wagon my buddy told me about this website and told me I need to get my parts off them. Suppose to be a big warehouse with great prices.

northernautoparts.com

Its saved me about $100 just on engine parts for the 283. They also have the bushings and ball joints that I need. Thats atleast another $100 Saved.

I've bought many rebuild kits off of Northern over the years. Always been happy with their stuff. I don't know if you still can, but last time I bought a kit you could upgrade to better pistons, cams ect. For a few bucks more.

I have used Northern on the last 2 SBC. They have good stuff for the right price .....If only you could get the machine work done a little cheaper that is what kills me.
