Hope everyone is doing okay
Weather is about to get really hot. If you are out in this stuff drink plenty of water. 98 one day and calling for 102 the next. I don't remember the last time we seen it over 100 degrees here.

Re: Hope everyone is doing okay
I've been setting in this frigid office with a heavy sweatshirt and just freezing. My feet feel like ice cubes. When I came in this morning the thermometer was barely reading 70 degrees. Went down to the city pool at lunch to splash around and get warmed up in the sun. Don't have AC in the car or the house and looking forward to getting warmed up. The air quality and the ability to breathe bothers me a ton more than the heat, but breathing is overrated anyway. Junkyard Jeff and I are planning on checking out the weekly cruise in up in Piqua tomorrow. Hopefully the advertised heat won't keep the car count down too much.

109 yesterday here. My son-in-law pointed out the humidity is so low it's a dry heat and not as bad. I had to remind him it's dry heat in an oven too but the turkey is just as cooked!

I was roofing (repair calls due to yesterday's high winds), so the bathroom remodel, at my house was interrupted. When I left the last roof, the Raytech gun was reading 152 degrees. Life is good!

Re: Hope everyone is doing okay
I have been doing what I can in the garage but yesterday it was just too hot to thread a long bolt all the way to the head so I went to the hardware store and bought one,the way it was going it would have took a half hour with sweat pouring into my eyes so it was the best 75 cents I spent so far.

Re: Hope everyone is doing okay
It was 104 in Wisconsin yesterday. We left this morning and my sister-in-law texed me that it was only 72 at nine AM. It was warmer than that when we left. We got home and turned on the news to learn that tomorrow we will have broken the record high temp in Nashville 9 days in a row. Is this crazy or what?

Re: Hope everyone is doing okay
We went to Columbus to the hot rod deal over the weekend. They of course said it was the hotest GG's event no record. Out on that blacktop walking around most of the day was a bit warm ro say the least. The interesting part to me was that Saturday the cars that caught my eye were the ones that looked cool (that would be cool in temperature not style) The people in the flat black vehicles riding in aluminum bomber seats looked like they were dying a slow agonizing death. Plenty of Pepsi and Ice Cream to keep the core temperature down. Didn't see anybody pass out but some that looked pretty miserable. Looked for people from here but saw no one. Maybe some of the 1200 pictures later.
