WOOHOO! thanks for keeping us posted.

Thanks everyone. I truely believe in God's work. I know some don't believe, that is fine. I won't preach to you but I have seen too much not to believe. The doctor said Corey's face would look worse after the surgery due to them going in. The first night he looked really bad. Even his brown eye was a lime green in color. I thought for sure he would loose his eye. Next day he looked worse.

He had the surgery and I was worried about how bad he would look today. I walk in and the swelling is gone WAY down. his nose is not swelled any more and he can open his eye! He is home but on bed rest for a couple weeks other than doctor visits. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes! We came home today and people down the street had done the house up for Corey. Very nice. I can't express how much I'm greatfull for all the support.

His girlfriend made it in to see him. This made him happy. Look at the grin.

This may look bad to some but this is nothing! This is today. I can't believe how much better he looked than last night. I just want to grab him and squeeze him. I feel so sorry for him. If I could take that pain he took I would trade with him in a second.

With Corey less doped up I got most of the picture. Corey and two friends were at a park. One guy jumped on Corey's friends little sister. He pushed her and her brother jumped up and pushed him. Corey walked over trying to get his friend to leave. Blows started and Corey just stood there. Out of the corner of his eye he seen another guy running up to hit Corey's friend. Corey scooped him up and was just holding him trying to get him to calm down. Another guy came up and started on Corey. Corey wouldn't say anything back then all hell broke loose. The guys that jumped them were drinking so beer bottle became weapons. The second friend of Corey's got jumped by 3 guys. Corey reacted how I taught him. Don't react until you have too. He was still holding the guy in his arms while the guy started swinging. By this time the whole crew of want to be thugs joined in. Corey flipped him over his head and slammed him face first into a brick wall. Corey put that guy in the hospital. At first we thought Corey's friend did it but it was Corey. Corey fought his way to the smaller one of his friends that had 3 guys on him. I take it that was when he got all the scrapes and cuts. He don't remember any of that part of the fight. Someone told me he dropped 3 of them. The first friend had his hands full and then to make it worse someone whipped out a knife. When that happened Corey's friend yelled to run. Corey grabbed the friend he was closest too and fought their way to the street. They took off trying to get away from 10 to 15 guys. 3 on 15. Nice odds huh. They ran over 2 block before Corey heard someone on his heels. He turned and looked at the guy and other than seeing the back end of the truck it was lights out for Corey. They slammed his head into the back of a parked work truck. Right above the taillight. Corey's friend seen Corey down and jumped over him and whoever else was there onto the back bumper and grabbed a pipe that was sticking out of the truck. One of the guys got to close and Corey's friend let him have the pipe. Sending him to the ER. By the time Bellevue Police showed up there were about 30 people involved from where they came out of the houses and texting. Bellevue was overwelmed and called in Dayton PD and Newport PD to help. The next day I was walking with Bellevue PD doing a small grid search where all this happened. Almost done then I came across the knife. It was covered with blood laying in the grass. PD nor the hospital know anything about a stabbing so either they took care of it themself or who knows. I guess prints will be taken from that.

I'm glad he's okay. Corey is one tough dude but he doesn't like to hurt people. When we figured out Corey was the one who put the one guy in the hospital even though he's laying there with a cuts on his elbows, knees, knuckles, broken orbital bone, cut under his eye, fracture between his eye socket and nose and blood still clotting from his broken nose he bowed his head in shame. His girlfriend trying to perk him up said good for you. He shook his head and with a lowered voice said I never wanted to hurt him.

If Corey would have ran it's hard to say what would have happened to his 2 friends. The same can be said for the other boy. When Corey was knocked out the boy jumped over him to get the pipe splitting one of the guys heads open sending him to the ER and the other guys running when the pipe went swinging. While I hate this happened I'm glad the boys stuck up for each other and didn't run off leaving a friend behind like most chicken shits would do now a day!

Hoping for a speddy recovery. As Theodore Roosevelt said once, "Talk soflty and carry a big stick..."

Man this is hard to read. But its good to hear for that he will be okay and its good that he was able to save his friends. I'll still be praying for him

Here are two of the punks they caught. They didn't get away with it scott free. One is bruised up a little. The other looks like he got it pretty good.
Corey still got the short end of it though. I think the 3 boys did pretty good with the odds they had.

This was taken after his Morphine shot right before he left the hospital. He's out cold. He was trying by the looks of his left. He has swelled hands and cuts on both.

Glad to here he's home and doing better. continued prayers for a speedy recovery . Its tough to hear, and even tougher to see. It could have been so much worse though. With those odds it seems God was watching over them.

Glad to here that he is home. He should be able to get some real rest now! Hard to look at those pics and not get mad....You just want to be there all the time so you can protect them but they grow up so fast!
