Prayers needed

Corey and a friend of his got jumped last night in Bellevue, Ky. I have been with Corey all night at the hospital but he's so out of it I can't get much out of him. I talked to the cops and it looks like there was about 30 people involved. I have heard so many stories I don't know what to think right now. Someone said Corey had 10 guys after him. He beat 3 of them up and took off running trying to get away. He came around the corner and one of the guys hit him with a beer bottle and another slammed his head into a truck. He's not looking good. They broke his orbital bone. His bottom muscle for his eye is stuck on the fracture and he can't move his eye. It's swelled up 3 times it's size. They fractured his sinus cavity and broke his nose. The brake is the part that is between his eye socket and bridge of his nose. He's cut up pretty bad. Knees, elbows and his knuckles are messed up. They had to put a plate and screws behind his orbital bone and see what other damage is done while they are in there.

I met up with Bellevue PD before coming home to change and we went back down where it happened. PD told me they had 3 people hurt within a 3 block area. The other 2 that was hurt was from Corey's friend. When it got deep he found a pipe next to a fence and gave it to them. The two that he hit went into the hospital and when they released them the arrested them. They are in jail now. Corey was the 3rd one hurt. While I was walking the ground PD told me they had went through the area. 10 foot steps later I find a pocket knife covered in blood in the grass. One of the cops bagged it and is going to see if he can get a print. No one has come forward yet with a knife wound.

Prayers have bveen sent. If you need anything let me know. That's a terrible thing to have happen. I just hope he comes thru OK. Hopefully his eyesight will be ok. That's an area that gets to me quick since I only have sight in one.

I can't say enough or pray enough anymore. It's all gone crazy. My prayers are with him and your family. If you need nothing don't hesitate even though I am across the river. Peace brother.

He is in our prayers...thats just crazy shit like that can happen....hope all goes well and if yall need anything call...

Corey is in good spirits right now of course has some good pain meds.. He had a Pepsi in recovery and he said that was the best Pepsi he has ever drank. He should be getting to eat soon. Thanks for the support and prayers they are very much needed!

Saw Steve and Amy tonight for a little bit. They are doing pretty good in spite of every thing (holding up better than I probably would be). Sounds like Corey got pretty lucky and things could have been much worse. They told me Corey was in good spirits through most of it. I know Steve was pretty wiped out and was heading to bed to crash. So wanted to let everyone know they are doing ok.

I just woke up. We have to get some food for the other two little ones then we are heading back over. Sorry for any confusion for the ones that try to get info. The hospital has Corey under an AKA due to the crime. If you call over there the people can't even see his name on the computer. No one can get in to see him. I had security bring me a hand written letter from someone that was there tring to get up there. No name so thanks for trying whoever it was. Even Amy is having trouble due to this. We have been kicked out of place when we got 10 feet next to him. Corey can't say much when this goes on due to him being doped up. We are trying to get the AKA dropped so it's not so crazy. I called over there last night to his room but must have written the number down wrong. When I called to try to get an update they told me he wasn't there. Then I told them he was a AKA and she freaked. I can't give you any info at all. I told her I was his dad and she said that doesn't matter. I ask to connect me with the nurses station on his floor so I could talk to his nurse and she told me no and connected me with a higher up which only made me more upset. I ended up getting mad and hanging up on her. It's been crazy. I understand it all but it make it rough on his family.

Corey was joking around last night when we left. I called his girlfriend for for and let them talk. That made his day.

Thanks again everyone. Hug your kids today. You never know when the last time you will see them. Last words I told Corey when he walked out the day that day was I love ya son, stay out of trouble. I'm thankful for when Corey landed when it was over. There just happen to be a pipe laying in the back of a pickup. When Corey hit the ground and everyone started fighting again his friend wouldn't leave him. He grabbed the pipe and started swinging.
