Prayers needed

You guys know I'm funny about asking anyone for help. This is a little different. My mom is going in for surgery today. They say it should be an easy one for her. Thing is at 70+ years of age surgery is not easy for anyone. My mom does not handle things like this very well. If you would, say a little prayer for her.

Mom's are precious! I'll be thinking of yours' today. Funny thing, my Mom (who is 83) also had surgery this morning. Everything went well for her and she is resting nicely. The neurosurgeon was very happy with the outcome and said we may see more improvement than originally thought. I am going back to the hospital in a while to visit. Here's hoping for the same results for your Mother!

Thanks guys. Jerry I'm glad to see you mom is doing well. I'm still at the hospital. She is out of surgery now and is resting. They ask her on a 1 to 10 pain level where was she at. She said 20. They have her pretty doped up right now. So far so good. Doc says everything went very good.

Good to hear. How long is she expected to stay in the hospital?

Tomorrow or the next day. They are not sure yet. I went home and got the kids in bed and then come back over here. Every 4 hours they are shooting her up full of pain meds. That's what they are doing right now. I don't know what's worse watching mom or dad. Dad is a nervous wreck. I tried to get him to go home and I'd stay with her tonight but he won't have any of that.

I will also say a prayer for her and your family as well, for a speedy recovery.

Just for the record she's doing really well. So everything looks like it worked out. I'm sure she will be in some pain for a while but nothing some rest won't take care of.
