Scroungers Junk Yard Run??
Anyone have a junkyard we can hit that has some old iron in it? What about some of us hitting Starks or some other place to just look around. Never know what you may find. I'm not sure if I can remember how to get to Starks but I may be able to get directions.
Anyone interested?
Not Starks but looking at some of my old pics has me wanting to do some digging in the junk yards.

I has been quite awhile since I have seen a snake, so a junkyard run sounds fun!

I'd be willing to go with you all to look around. I was watching an episode on American Pickers and they were somewhere in Eastern Ky and ran up on 3 or 4 different junk yards that had classic and antique cars. They were near Lexington, being I seen the sign for Winchester. I'm sure there are many off the beat paths around that neck of the woods with older vehicles in them.

The problem is finding a yard that has old cars in it and the second problem is getting in. They are still out there but they are getting hard to come by. If anyone knows of one in a 100 miles radius of Cincy let us know.

Re: Scroungers Junk Yard Run??
That's so true. We have an old yard here that is almost impossible to get in. Newest thing in it is from te late 70's and I don't think he ever crushed anything. The owner had a stroke but still gets around some and is happy to have someone come by. His daughter is a different story. If she catches you there talking to him she will run you off. If you don't leave she goes home (next door) and calls the cops. Lots of good iron there rotting down.
