As soon as he spends hours polishing it he will be like that. I've never seen a grown man little less a kid that likes to polish parts like him.

I can send a few parts over that I need done. Hey, he keeps it up and gets good, he could start himself a little side business. Now if we could just get him in touch with some car guys some how.

I read this thread earlier and was going to suggest the same thing... Great minds think alike!
Get him a big old buffing wheel for Christmas and some business cards......

Hey Kyle, I really like the new avatar!
I don't have much that needs polishing. How do you feel about sanding?

That was the first car/truck we bought him. He was 8 years old. It was rough, he fixed it up and traded around until he got what he wanted, the 79 Firebird.Arieldouglas wrote:When did y'all do that? It's a pretty cool little truck.

Re: Aryan's 1979 Firebird ~ The Fire Chicken
I did a little work to Aryan's Firebird today. The wheels were rubbing so I trimmed up the lips. I already pushed the seat belt bulge on the inner fenderwell in. That was rubbing a little. It had a full tank of gas in it and Corey in the back seat and didn't rub so I guess it's fixed. I can now stuff a 15X10 with a 10" wide foot print tire under the rear. The cars sits really low in the back. Next the front springs will get a couple coils hacked out and the front rims and skins put back on.
I had to jump on the people next door again. Their little angels dug up a bunch of dirt and tossed into my pond and all over the hood of Aryan's Firebird. White trash!

Re: Aryan's 1979 Firebird ~ The Fire Chicken
I wasn't planning on messing with this Firebird for a year or so. With putting parts in storage I found a decent dog house. Aryan wanted the T/A stuff on this car for looks so I figured it would be better to just toss them on instead of dragging them to wherever we end up moving to.
