Aryan's 1979 Firebird ~ The Fire Chicken

I'm not pushing to get this done. I work on it as I get time. I'm hoping the other fender will find it's way on this week.

One is junk and I'm going to hold on to the good one.

I haven't herd much about the Mustang. Not sure what happened to it after it left us.

We got the T/A dog house on it. The Firebird is just kind of waiting it's turn to get some work done. We have some stuff planned. Just have to find the time and space to get it done. I gave Aryan one of my 400 blocks and some vintage speed goodies for it. He's driving me nuts wanting to get the swap done. He keeps telling his sister he going to smoke the tunnel rammed 454 Chevy in her Firebird.

No worries on the Mustang. I just recall you mentioning something about trying to track it down and possibly get it back.

Glad that the Firebird is still together!

Aryan found an old Whale Tail for the Bird. It's a love it or hate it kind of thing. He likes it so it went on.

Nice he needs a front airdam now a supercharger sticking out the hood and it needs to be painted yellow and black. And name it. ( Maggot )

The kids make 5% of what I make in the shop. They help they get paid. Doesn't sound like much but it adds up. Aryan was able to buy a pair of 2" lower springs for his 79 Firebird. Now if I can just find the time to put them on for him.

So I can scrap the set i have?

lol Scrap? Shame shame.. we won't need them now. Thanks though. Soon as you get rid of them you will buy a Camaro with a busted spring though..

Well, I'm moving, have no use for them and they are pretty rusty. Gotta clean up. May give them to my neighbor to use some of the leaves, his Ford Ranger only has a single leaf in the back from PO removing all of them to lower it.
No camaro in my future I know that.

Worked on Aryan's 'Bird this week. New springs, shocks, Sway bar links and more. Earl ripped the front suspension loose while Aryan and I did the back. Works out nicely and the ol' 'bird handles like it's on rails now.

Those heavy duty springs in the front came out much easier taking the rear bolts out of the A arm and not splitting the ball joints from the A arm.

This was the good side. Both leafs were busted up.
