Going to pull the craigslist trans out tomorrow and take it and the 4x4 trans down to the trans shop and maybe a good trans at the end of the week or early the next week.

If I had more room in the garage a wood stove would be in there now.

Only problem is, once you get a good fire going it's relly tempting to sit by it and make sure it doesn't get lonely.

Re: 1987 full size bronco 2wd conversion
If anyone is bored and needs something to do monday or tuesday night the trans will be going in,looked around for a pair of used tires today with no success so I dropped the rims off and had new tires installed. I just cant pay 40 dollars a piece for weather cracked used tires that most tire shops are wanting so I just payed a little more the double for new tires.

Tuesday Nite?
Maybe you need to go to the hardware and get some wing nuts for that damned crossmember.

Gotta watch the WWE Monday.
I might not get hme too early tomorrow evening from taking a ride to deliver the racer. Might be a little sleep deprived Monday.

Re: 1987 full size bronco 2wd conversion
Too bad about the back but there were no cuts or bruises and no lost tools so it was a good night. The only thing was that I was on the COLD side.

Don't you guys cut yourself on purpose and bleed down the intake? We never trust a job that isn't blessed with blood.

The garage isn't big enough. That thing is so huge you can't hardly get around it. There's motorcycles, boat motors and all kind of crap in the road. There's barely enough room for the old hearter, let alone my big arse. It's supposed to go around the block this weekend. I'm sure there'll be pictures then. The thing should have quite the California rake with the 2 wheel drive front end and the stock 4 wheel back end.

Re: 1987 full size bronco 2wd conversion
It went around the block tonight and have a leak to chase down,I dont remember making sure the torque convertor drain was tight so I hope thats all it is,without a pressure gauge it took me awhile to get it to shift the way I wanted it to but its there now.

Re: 1987 full size bronco 2wd conversion
It was the convertor drain plug being loose,I could turn it with my fingers and suprised it did not blow out. I did not want to pull the trans back out again.
