Bowling Green is only about 30 miles down the road from me. I don't make a gun on me 24/7 but have one in the truck when heading down the road. Always try to take one when I go to pick up old cars, trucks or tractors. Might have to buy something to pack on me all the time.

Take a weapon with you! Outside the home! For a reason besides hunting! You all must be members of law enforcement or the military!  Shocked

I went to buy an axle this morning. I started out the door and turned around and grabbed my firearm. It's getting to be some what common for criminals to set you up. This guy wanted to meet me in Newport in a parking lot, not his house. You just never know anything about them and he knew I would have at least 300 bucks with me. Giving what he knows and what I know I felt better with my sidearm.

I don't think I'm scared. I have no fear of death other than leaving my family alone but I not going to let someone take me out without a fight.

Sometimes when I put stuff for sale on craigslist, I have people wanting my address. I give them the local country store just down the road and tell them to meet me there. I get suspicious after I went to move the old Divco milk truck I use to have and found a broken set of vice grips and a phillips screw driver on the fender.

Had one guy call about a model a chassis a couple of years ago. Wanted to meet on Sunday mid morning. Went to call him back and didn't answer so I left a message saying after noon would be good for me since it was mother's day. Got a call back saying him or the guy didn"t have a cell phone. On that Sunday I got a phone call about 10 am. Its amazing how they have no cell phone and then have one the day you arrive.

Had two home invasions in Glasgow. Heard that this individual sold an old car and the next day the home invasion occured. They thought he still had the money but his father had it.

I'm scared of guns, I have a wife for some reason they won't take her...
All kidding aside yes I agree, too many dirtbags are working hard to rip us off. Mr .45 is not your friend when his voice barks flames in your direction.
Also always good idea not inviting people to your home to see things alone.
Mean dog pissed off wife and a fat bald guy packing mr .45 on his side usually works for me
