Home Powder Coating??
Has anyone ever tried this before? I am thinking about buying a kit to do it, just wanted some input before I spend 200 bucks. Any thoughts?

Sounds good I will let you know. I am still trying to decide if I am going to buy a kit yet or not. My question is how good are the HOME VERSIONS of these? I found one were you don't even need an air compressor to use it just plug it in and go. Its in summit mag.
Re: Home Powder Coating??
they work good on a small scale... I know a guy that does small parts with his.. You can get alot of powder coating done pretty cheap.. There is a place out here on LIMABURG I have used and then another down on 3L, old 17 or whatever they are calling it today.. Scott Liska is the owner good guy easy to work with...
Re: Home Powder Coating??
If you don't mind Harbor Freight, they have their kit on sale right now for 49.99. Usually 69.99. Good until April 1st I think. Talked to a guy who owns a powder coating place in Loveland that says if you just need small things then thats the way to go.

Electric.. 220 Volt Hot Point Almond, you can replace the burner switch for $40 from Cincinnati Appliance Repair, or Pearsols.. Come get it before I take it to Goodwill To get me a tax credit for next year... I also have a nice matching fridge with ice maker to go with it but I need some $100 cash for it...
