Jeff Gemmers stuff

I went yesterday to look at this old chop top. Just thought I'd share some pics.

I liked this one a lot.

This was on a shelf 20 feet in the air.

I tried to buy this but he didn't want to sell it.

I was trying to find the story about me buying a grille shell off a crackhead but could not find it. A year ago some crackhead stopped me and tried to sell me a T grille shell. I told him no at first and then he said he was going to scrap it. I knew it was hot. I told him not to do that and he told me they had already scrap the car. I ask more about it trying to dig info from him but he wouldn't say much. As I got in the truck it was driving me nuts. I got back out and paid him for it. I put it on the forum that I had it and started calling people around town that has hot rods. They didn't hear about anyone getting robbed. I talked to the Police Chief and he made a call to Detective Vance and Vance knew right where it came from. Just a few blocks away from my house. I told him to stop by the next morning to grab the grille shell and give it back to the guy. Vance calls the next day and tells me he's on his way. I keep glancing out the window and I see the crackhead I got it from breaking into Riggs old house. I grab my gun and call Vance to tell him what's up. I'm in Riggs back yard and here comes the crackhead out the back door of the house. Long story short he was robbing everyone. He was even breaking into peoples houses and robbing them while they slept. Some people picked him out of the mug book after he was caught at Riggs house. He's doing 15 years in the pen right now.

Wow. Anyway Jeff tells me he's got a grille shell but is not sure what it's off of.

He goes on to tell me his dad got robbed down in the West End and that his dad walked in his shop and handed the grille shell to Jeff and told Jeff this is all that is left.

You guessed it. That's the same grille shell. What a small world!

If you seen the space in this place you would die. The building is about the size of a full city block. When we walked out I had to follow him because I got backwards and wasn't sure how to get out.

Do you know what that is?

It looks like a Bridgestone I had back in the 70's.

He told me but I had my mind on trying to get that T bucket. I don't recall what he said it was.

Talk about small world, Jeff is Janet's cousin.
