You got it.Nanook wrote:Very true and well said, Steve. Some groups get a bad name/reputation but not all associated with said groups are bad people. Hence how my experiences were with the Hells Angels and some other nefarious people my dad ran around with. And when it comes to kids almost all of the gruffest of folks went out of their way to make a kid feel welcome. I have the same attitude about dancers...I grew up around 'em and some are really doing what they can do best to get thru school, feed their kid(s) or just make it all come together at the end of the month. Not all dancers are coke whores...not all bikers are skull knockers...not all gangsters are thugs. Sadly though I think that this kind of kindness is slowly leaving not just these groups but folks in general. It's a mad world anymore. A strange, odd, scary and unnerving world more often than not. It takes good God-fearing folks to keep kindness, charity and samaritanship alive and well. It's one reason why I like being in this club...good peeps all around who genuinely care for one another.
Sincerely,
Lee

Re: Photo of the day
Just for the record the Gangster Tours they do in Newport is full of false statements taken from people that wrote books. They have some things right but the story of the people and what and who they were are wrong. The guys that do the Gangsters Tours are not even from the city of Newport so if anyone takes the tour take it with a grain of salt. Most people in the know laugh at them.

Re: Photo of the day
Saw this at the gas station tonight.
Yep that's an SS Monte, driver said he watched them crush it and it was in great shape.
On a happier note my son Nick sent me a picture of the latest project on his toy. I know it's a new car but he's dumped his heart and soul into her. Bigger cam, cnced heads, new exhaust, Viper rims and now full air ride. He says next is a stronger 3rd member, and then a super charger.

Wonder how well that sign worked. My grandfather had a Stutz Bearcat when he was a young man.
