I'm always moved to tears whenever I see that picture of that young boy's tombstone. That's simply lovely and beautiful imagery.

Re: Photo of the day
Not sure yet, just made a deal a couple weeks ago on a package deal of parts for it. As soon as I get back home. I'm in Panama working for another week or so. Thinking LS engine for the gas mileage, and making a lowered 60's custom out of it.
OR A big block gasser. It all depends on what parts I can come up with. For a gasser I have pretty much all I need except for drive train.
Time will tell, I have a few projects ahead of it for now.

During the recent “Colorado Street Outlaws” event at Pikes Peak International Speedway a driver crashed his immaculate pro street style 1955 Chevy violently. During the course of the wreck, the driver was thrown around the car and ended up with his legs sticking through the windshield of the car, his head still in the passenger compartment. Incredibly this guy walked away and we mean that in the most sincere form of the word. We have never seen a crash like this with the driver’s limbs sticking out of the car end in this happy a fashion. Yes, the car is destroyed, yes lots of money and heard work are down the drain, but the fact this guy lived is beyond words.
The event looks to have been held on the pit road at the circle track and the cars seem to be running on an unprepared asphalt surface, likely to “simulate” street racing. As you will see, both cars were completely out of shape at the hit of the throttle and this incident came within inches of being a two car pile up. We’re going to let the video speak for itself. We have no more words –
