Sure it's a frod rearend. The ad clearly states it has 2 steerin colums. What other kind of rearend could it possibly have?

Not a scam, those era Mopars just aren't worth squat. That's a WAY high price for that car, especially with a blown engine. There is a really nice one here on CL running and driving for $1200 and the guy can't give it away. The four doors are especially ugly...

No doubt it's ugly. But sure seems the Nash guys love those Metropolitans.

I could have bought one of those for $600.00 a couple years back and walked away from it. I agree that all older cars have something to give but to me this has to be the ugliest one. I like nice flowing lines. If it doesn't have nice flowing lines you can always chop the top or give it a custom touch to make it look nice. This body style just doesn't have anything going for it in my eyes. Chops tops only make them more ill looking. The 1/4's are ?? I'll be nice
Only thing I could see is driving it stock. It would be okay but you can find a nice looking body style for the same amount of money.

If I had one and wanted to do something with it it would be a radical hack job just cause I don't see anything else in it,.
Maybe a 4" chop top. 4" body section and slam it on the ground.
