1971 Ford LTD Convertible Going to the Crusher April 17 2012

My brother in law has a very solid, 100% complete, running '71 Ford Convertible that he's going to take to the crusher Tuesday! This car is way too nice to have crushed! It's 100% complete. Install a battery and rebuild the carb and it runs! The power top works, as does everything else. It has a 400/2 bbl, auto, Factory AC, original AM/FM Radio, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Power top, Remote drivers side mirror, and a Super Nice original Black interior. The car is showing 54,000 miles. The brakes work and it has dual exhaust. He has a clear KY title in his name. NO JOKE, you can spend 1 day cleaning this car and 1 day tuning it and it is on the road! It starts and runs with starting fluid, but the carb needs rebuilt (he already has the kit). I might be able to hold him off for a couple of days, but he wants it gone ASAP. He told me he would take $500.00 for it and you haul it and pay the transfer.
