Pet WOW of Highland Heights Ky is sponsoring the eighth annual “It’s A Pet aFair” and all pet owners are invited to attend. and Cincy Custom Street Machines will be holding their car show along with the pet fair (info about the car show on next page)

This is a one day event/festival for them and their pets. All proceeds from this event will go to the SAAP (Stray Animal Adoption Program) here in Northern Ky.

To help educate owners about their pets and to let them know what rescues and resources that are available to pet owners when they want to adopt a pet or when they can now longer keep one. To help teach responsible pet ownership.

To raise money for the SAAP program while teaching pet owners what resources are out there for them and to help promote responsible pet ownership. This is the eighth year for this event. The first year’s event was put together in about 3 weeks and we had 30 various rescue and vendor booths there and last year we are close to 70 booths. Both years we had a large public turnout and raised over $4,000 for the SAAP program.

Highlights—
**New this year**MASCOT MINGLE– 2-3 Meet/greet various mascots– Frisch’s Big Boy, Cincinnati Red’s Gapper, Quaker Steak & Lube Chicken, Orlando the Cat, Sparkey the Firedog & more CINCINNATI REDS ROVER on display at car show along with VINTAGE FIRETRUCKS AND BUSES!!! STREET HOCKEY CLINIC FOR KIDS 5-14 SPONSORED BY NKY HOCKEY KIDS STREET HOCKEY

Dog Training will have a play area for dogs to ’let off energy’. Newport Police K9 Unit will hold a Demo at 1:00 PM. No Snow Sledding Dogs demo at 12. Music by On the Air Entertainment with JD Hughes.

Onsite microchip clinic (Home Again Microchips $25) and heartworm testing($10), Feline Combo Test FELINE COMBO TESTING ($10)

Our Famous pet parade and costume contest starting at 3pm. Pet parade Grand Marshal– Our mascots from the ’Mascot Mingle” and NY Giant . Entry fee for the pet costume contest is $5. per entry charge.
Various types of animal rescue (dogs, cats, reptiles, horses, small animal etc) booths and vendors from the Tri State area.

There is no admission to the pet fair and there is free parking.
.Cincy Custom Street Machines will be sponsoring an OPEN car show this year. Entry fee is $15. Registration is from 9am– 12pm and show is from 12pm– 4pm.

Trophies will included Best In Show,Best GM, Mopar,Ford, Truck, Import, Bike, Paint, Interior, Engine and SAAP’s Choice, along with Top 10.

No it has some new info about trophies on it.

We Will Have the PET FAIR & CAR SHOW ON SUNDAY APRIL 29TH - same times same place.,,. EVERY ONE PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD FAR AND WIDE!! The weather said tstorms all day tomorrow and nice on Sunday.....sorry for any inconveniences !! All activities will go on at the same planned times. We do hope that still can come to our event as Sunday will be a nice day.
Car Show will go on Sunday at Gil Lynn Park. WE will have Show & Shine Calendars along with a Show & Shine Award, plus our trophies, food and DJ and of course the pet fair. Parking will be on blacktop. Entry bags and dash plaques to the first 150 entries!

This is the 3rd thread on this. I don't mind the posting but keep them in the same thread please. I have put two of the threads together. They do have two dates though. 28 or 29th?? I take it due to the rain we have a rain date. It's now 29th!

Wonder what happens if the weather system slows down and doesn't hit till Sunday? Does it get another rain date?
