Edgewater April 10th

Haven't broken anything on streets or drags yet. Then again, I come out of the hole very gingerly. Gaining a tenth or 2 at the risk of grenading the rear or tranny just doesn't appeal to me. Not worh it.

Thanks man....i havent heard any one say much about them...i just figured a pair of moser's would be better than the stock ones....maybe i will hold off and just bring a spare stock one also....its not all that anyway but seems like them axles break when you not really beatin on them..lol

I was hoping to go. I just realized this was a Sunday night. I'm still currently tied up with an evening service we have on Sunday nights. I was hoping to come watch and support, but it will have to be another time.

my bro brent called me .he was talken to sean haas today .sean told him that (dck) weinle owner of edgewater gave him the ok for a 70 car limit . and hes doin two races this year

Sean told me he could have up to 70 cars.

This is my 1st time attending the event. More cars is clearly good for the charity, but the time frame is 4 hours on the track. If you can average 2 cars running the track every 30 seconds (doubtful), that's 960 cars down the track. With 40 cars, each car could potentially run the track 24 times. With 70 cars, each car could potentially run the track 13 times.

I just want a safe, fun, easy going day with no mechanical failures. Also expect it to be a hoot to see my wife & son take the cars down the track.

I'm not sure if I care for the 70 cars either. That was always the best part, not having to wait in line to run. It will still be less cars than normal. I'm looking forward to it.

Yea i had fun even though i had problems....i got the axle fixed in the Monte and had to replace the alternator on the Nova...it was trying to lock up and causing my belt to burn up and twist off...everything is fixed and i cant wait till next time... Drove the Nova home with open headers...that was cool but sucked burning that racing fuel up ... I am proud of Shelly for driving my truck and trailer home with her car on it

This was the first time my 17-year-old son got to take any car out and run it at a drag strip. He had a blast & I got a kick out of watching him.

The old Camaro can be a handful and getting it rolling on drag radials isn't so easy. He didn't turn any good ETs, but he was hitting the gears pretty good & managed to trap it at 116.
