Re: Most rotted vehicle
Here is what is rotted on mine, rotted not rusted:
Entire trunk floor, needs completely replaced
Both rear frame rails
Both quarter panels
Both rocker panels BIG TIME
Both fenders
Both doors
Both inner wheelhouses
Both outer wheelhouses
Both coil spring covers
Deck lid
Seat bases
Floor was completely rotted
Everything else is rusted. The car actually runs good. The trunk I don't know what to do about. I'm worried about attempting to put that in. I can't afford it right now either. $450.00 plus shipping is the cheapest I've found.
The trunk is rotted so bad that their is big holes where the frame rails go and someone before me hammered the rails out, welded choppy new steel into the trunk ABOVE, welded the old rails back on, then because they were rotted so bad the guy welded quarter inch steel to cover the holes on the frames.

Re: Most rotted vehicle
my FJ-40 and its not to bad just had some sheet metal on the 1/4's
And then my 54 was probably 2nd, but then again it was'nt to bad just some floor braces, and inner rockers
My 66 Duece only had firewall rot,
Like my old man used "if your gonna buy rust you better love to weld", so I guess I had to learn to love welding..
And this MOPAR had NO TRUNK, so It was The ruffest buy far, but still nothing that could'nt be fixed...
