he is a auctioneer, he and his family buys stuff dirt cheap and sells higher than hell, did it here when I bought my house, the old guy had a auction here, his people grouped the stuff together and bought the cool stuff for they selves....and a penis to boot....in my never to be humble opinion...
Re: Amy's 58, "Ms. Clara Bel Air"
I went out to the property and dropped the 454 in the 58. I'd have to say I wouldn't do another one. Not a swap for the light hearted. Everything was in the way or was just a pain. It would have been alot easier to drop in the engine and then put the trans in. I didn't want to mess around on the dirt floor of the barn so it went in all together. It's just resting in the bay not even bolts in the mounts yet but she's all lined up. I have some stuff going on so it may be next week before I get back to it. Hopefully within a couple weeks I should have it running minus the driveshaft work that needs to be done. Just need to get some free time.

I'm very sorry Ms. Clara Bel Air is not being very easy to get along with. Everything I get seems to be difficult. It seems to be a running trend.

I saw a few 58's (and various other full size Chevrolets 58-early 70's) near a friends families farm near Manchester Ohio. If I go back that way I could fing out more about them...you might already know about them for all I know...not too far from Jim Leis place (relatively speaking it is not too far).
