Bottom hose I got in one shot. It fits nice too.
Aryan and I wrapped up last night by putting the windshield back in. Hopefully for the last time. It's a pain to mess with.

Re: Bread & Butter 27 Ford Project
Tonight I started messing with the front brakes. The notch where the rubber lines go on were sending the rubber lines to the front and not out the sides. That's what happens when you start mixing parts from different brand cars. Ford Spindles with S10 brakes. I ground a little off to make room for the lines to go in the direction I wanted them to go. When I got ready to put the line on one side I noticed they sent me a bunch of crush sleeves. My mind is else where and it had me all screwed up. I called Joe and we talked about it. He set me straight on a question I had and then we got to talking about all those crush sleeves. I guess they sent them to get the line over the groove so you could angle the rubber line where ever you wanted. I don't like that idea and I already ground the caliper to where I could do as I wanted. Thanks Joe for the use of your brain by the way.

Re: Bread & Butter 27 Ford Project
Sometimes people do things out of the goodness of their heart and they really don't know how good it makes others feel. I have had some stuff going on for a couple weeks now. Not anything worse than others have to deal with but you know sometimes you just feel beat up in life. Sometimes you just get bummed.
The other day I was driving up the street in the Fire Chicken. I passed this guy and he tells me to turn around and park, he had something for me. I turned around and was trying to figure out if I knew this guy. He walked up and introduced himself. It was Hellvis from this forum. We talked for a minute and then he tells me he was on his way to my house. He bought a set of seat belts for his hot rod but they were too short. He said he knew they would look good in the 27, whipped out the seat belts and my heart sunk. I was wanting something cool for the 27 but just couldn't afford what I wanted. Amy and I talked about it and we bought these cheap ugly ones that we could use until we could afford a nicer set.
THESE UGLY BELTS
He told me a cheap price and I wanted them bad but had no cash on me. He laughed and said doesn't matter I know where ya live. We talked for a few minutes and I left with the belts.
I thought I knew where he lived but that night I could not find his house. The next day Amy and I went looking for Hellvis(Dan) to pay him. It took a little digging but we found him. He was under the hood of his hot rod wrenching away. Nice house and view by the way Danny. The belts are right on what I wanted and will look killer in the T.
Killer Deal! Thanks Danny!
Coming home I was getting in a little better mood. I opened the mailbox and there was a big package from Doug in TN. It was heavy and rattled. I was like a little kid ripping it apart to see what was in there. When I was down there I seen his little brackets he used to hold his brake lines in place. Little things like this is what makes a project into a nice car and not just something you build in your side yard.(Vickers) Anyway I made a remark about trying to find some and guess what's in the box?
lots of them!
Thanks Doug! Some of these will find their way on the T.
Tonight Butch makes me a killer deal for a Scoop for Aryan's Firebird. It made Aryan's day, which makes my day when my kids are happy.
Thanks Butch!
I know I come off hard core at times but I just wanted everyone to know I take none of you for granted. I have a great life, great friends and I have fun in this hobby we all love. I'm truely blessed.

What goes around, comes around!
I got home last night and there was an envelope from one J Riggs on the coffee pot. That's where Vick puts things she wants me to find.
Thanks for the gaskets Riggs.

Played around in the garage for a few hours. Heading back out right now for about an hour or so if anyone wants to hang out. Working on the right side exhaust pipe.

Re: Bread & Butter 27 Ford Project
The exhaust will dump right at the person so I didn't want it loud. The Cherry Bombs are straight through so the other pipe is a catch to kill the hi notes. The pipe is capped off with only a few holes to escape. It will have to go through all the side holes. I just don't want that drone dull buzz in our ears at highway speeds for hours.
The pipe was roughed up a bit. Bent down a little on one side of the holes to promote better flow out of the holes. Then a pick hammer was use to dimple the metal to rough up the smooth air flow on the inside.

Re: Bread & Butter 27 Ford Project
I hung out in the garage tonight more than working. It was a nice night even with the rain. I changed the oil and filter. Man, the oil was nasty! The battery I put in the 27 had a dead cell so I bought a new one and changed it over tonight. Took out a side post and put in a top post. It fits in there better. I started it up and let it run for a few minutes. holds 50PSI of oil pressure when cold. It didn't run long enough to see what normal operating pressure would be.

Thanks. I need to get in gear and get on it. It seems like when I want to work on it I have other things going on. It won't be much longer though.
