Re: Anyone alive out there?
FB is more of a personal (family) meetup for me and topics that need to be forwarded to family from all over the globe.. FB does keep me more informed with my Nephews and Nieces (11) that are in the Military, rather than writing a letter to them. I also have 96 family Members on FB, including my Dad that is well into his 80's that will send me a message when he needs me and can't get in touch with me via phone, being he will not leave messages on my answering machine.
FB has helped me reach out to family and friends alike.. It's been a valuable tool for me!

Facebook has been a great way to reconnect with people we haven't seen in many years. We are alive and doing well. Getting ready for a 3 day weekend!! Happy July 4th Everyone!

I had been checking in at least once a day, it has become very quiet on here. Seems everyone is on facebook now. I personally like this page, it is more personal. Facebook is too busy. always crap popping up that I have no interest in.

Re: Anyone alive out there?
I try to check in daily. Unfortunately I have nothing to contribute right now. My bobtail T-Bucket project is dead in the water due to health issues, and we're slowly getting my Cougar ready to sell for the same reason.
So far I've resisted getting on Facebook, but my resolve has been weakening. Is there a club facebook page?

Re: Anyone alive out there?
EVERYONE READ. Sad to say that this is the first time in 8+ years that we didn't get enough hits on the Scroungers Forum for them to pay for our domain name on the forum. Each year they would give us money in credit due to them using our forum for advertising. That paid for our use and domain name. This year we didn't get enough hits and unless we pay it will be shut down in 31 days. There is no need to pay for this out of our own pockets due to FB killing all the forums. No one gets on there. Everyone uses Facebook. We have so many build logs and info on there I hate to see it go but I feel no one will ever go back here. If you want any pictures from the past Scroungers events or build logs you need to go there within the next 31 days because after that it's gone forever.
If you wish to keep up with us join our Facebook page. Link is below. Sad day for sure. I loved this place when it was so active. You couldn't even keep up with all the post from day to day. It will be missed.
