Re: Nice day out.
Just finished up 50 foot of fence. Doesn't sound to bad until you think that's about 10% of what I need. Just chip away at it little by little. I should be able to sit back and enjoy the fruits of my labor when I am almost dead. lol

you too huh? I tell everyone I will get to retire when they haul me off in the hearse.
I've got a bunch of fencing to do too. I've had several trees in the fence line come down in the last 2 yrs, took out a lot of field fence. Good thing the goats need very little pasture, I can keep them in the front field.

Re: Nice day out.
My biggest problem is honey suckle bushes. They take over and within 2 years you can't find the property line. I have piles up and down the driveway to drag up here and burn.

I didn't get out at all yestereday. Went to the Doc Wednesday and he gave me something that kept me asleep until late in the day. Pretty much missed the whole day.

Yuo need some goats, honey suckle is their favorite.
They can mow one down in a few days and it will die by the next year.

Re: Nice day out.
I thought about a goat but not sure. I don't like the honey suckle bushes cause it kills out any Maple, Oak or whatever sapling try to come up. A goat would do the same.

Re: Nice day out.
I was burning some brush in the burn pit and while keeping a close eye on things I burned my hair...wearing a ball cap for the next week or so. Also broke out my 'Loser' t-shirt as well.

I know it's not funny but ...... As long as you are okay bro. It could be worse. You could have my hair do and would not have to worry about it.

LOL!!! This is true! I'm alright...just a bit embarrassed, really. Finished burning the rest of the brush today and wore a hat...lesson learned!
