I need some nice weather!

It's not crazy cold but I'm sick of this light rain and chilly temps. Come on SPRING!!!

Yeah, it's the chilly, wet weather I am tired of. Drivin' me NUTS!

our clocks change at the end of this month so hooray spring is here i hate the poxy winter so crap cant get anything done

It sure was pretty driving in to work this morning at first light. All the snow covered trees and bushes looked like a picturepostcard. That, and all the fancy cars, trucks and SUV's in the median setting at different angles all covered with snow. It's even still pretty outside my window.

I was shocked. Everyone made a big deal out of this. The milk and bread shelves where stripped for this? Just wondering?? If you where in a bad winter storm and you could not get out for 2 weeks would the only two things you buy be milk and bread? Sorry not me.

Amy stayed home from work because the weather man right before she headed out was making a big deal about the down pour of snow happening very fast and then leveling off through the night.

I WAS NO BIG DEAL HERE. You can't even make a decent snowman.

I think everyone has become soft. I'm not sure what would happen around here if we got capped with 8 to 10 inches of snow for two weeks. People would think the end of the world was coming.

I went to the store last night while it was snowing. The store was packed. I guess with people thinking they would be snowed in or something. They had to get their canned good and don't forget the bread and milk!

I went and got what the Stewart's needed to get by. Ice cream and donuts.

Yeah, folks go nuts over the weather here...amazing. Being from Alaska I admit that it takes a bit more than this to blow my hair back.

I am thinking most the people who were used to the weather up here have moved south and forced a bunch up this way that has no clue.

Waiting until tomorrow to put the cleaned and sealed tank in. It took three weeks to clean and a week to seal. Carb is done, so now let's run some gas through it!

Got the 65 custom 500 more door out today to test the new heater core but I hope I wont have to use heat for too much longer.

I took advantage and spent yesterday's weather upgrade to 45 degree working on the property in Cold Spring, Ky. I was up at 5:30 and at Lowe's by 6:15. Grabbed some timbers and by 7:00 I was in Ludlow, Ky to get a load of rock. 1 ton put that 1500 Chevy's back bumper on the ground. I'm use to my dually trucks. I have had well over 2 tons on them and they ride good.

The stepping stones to the back door had sank in the mud and was filled with water. I laid out some timbers and shoveled a ton of 1" river rock and made a walk way. I had some round stepping stones here at this house so between what I had at both places I was able to sink the stepping stones in the rock and make a walkway. The river rock is not as easy to shove as 3/4 gravel either. What a pain but at least it's done.

I had to stop at 2:00, get home to clean up and make it to Independance, Ky to pick my sister up so I could check out a house. She's moving back up here from TN. The house had to be rehabbed and looks like Aaron and I will be doing the work. I picked her up and drove out through Kenton County to the house. Nice from the front. Huge rounded stone front with big antique double entry doors, floor to ceiling windows. I get to the back and the back of the roof is shot. Before I get into the main part of the house I see the foundation has issues. Needed new wood for the roof in the rear and new shingles all over. Foundation was screwed up in 2 corners. Warped floors. The finished basement has sat with 3 1/2 foot of water in it, The sump pump stopped working. From the floor to 3 1/2 feet was covered in deep mold. Beside all that the furnace, hot water heater, fuse box and most of the wiring needed replaced. They wanted $80,000.00 for this place. They are nuts!

Dropped off my sis, went home for an old man nap and then back out to the property. This time Amy and the kids went. We drug brush and had a huge fire in the front yard. We stayed there hanging out by the fire letting the kids play until after midnight. If you walked 20 feet away from the fire the ground had froze where the temp dropped. We were nice and warm next to the fire though

Full day and got a little done. Come one summer!
