be safe driving in the snow
I was heading back from the grocery store right now. I saw this red Pontiac grand am pull out of an intersection. Typical idiot if my car has no traction I should give it more gas. They eventually go around me and just as I say that person is going to wreck she fish tails and wrecks in to an ambulance. Know I'm waiting on a cop to take my witness statement.

Was wondering how much snow you folks got with the storm. Our grass is covered, our local highway dept's haven't been out- nothing to plow, or treat with sand/salt. Just a dusting.

Re: be safe driving in the snow
To me it looks like it use to when I was a kid. Seems like we don't get snow like we use to. No big deal. Issue is everyone freaks out in the stuff. I went out last night and the roads where bad but I got stuck on the AA Highway doing 5 to 10 mph because of people creeping. The way I feel about it if you are not comfortable doing more than 5 to 10 mph on the highway you shouldn't be driving in it. To answer you question I'm not sure how many inches we got. The issue we had was in rained first then the temp dropped. We had some slick road when they froze.

Re: be safe driving in the snow
My bad drivers started yesterday morning, driving 20 mphs in a 45 with just wet roads. So aggravates me.
Saw a lot of stuck cars on the way home. If the Tahoe would've had good tires, I may have gotten out the strap and pulled people.
We got about 6" in Hamiltucky, I was on tractor from about 6:30-11 last night. Did mom', her two neighbors, then loaded up and spent about 2 hrs plowing walks/ drives at church. Thankfully it was warm enough the snow push off pretty easy, it's all ice today. I was freezing and plumb worn out last night.

I would say that we got 5 to 6 but not many wrecks.
