No pics before end of May 1993. House burned to the ground and took everything but the memories.

Here's our 2001 GMC Sierra 1500...special-ordered with 4.10s. Good truck we just sold in December.
Family heirloom...1993 Ford Bronco XLT. Mom and I are the 2d owners of this one and mom has had it since 1998. It's a very oddly optioned Bronco being an XLT with no power windows or locks and is a 302/5-speed combo with 3.55 posi.

Re: Anyone have any OLD pics of what they drove?
My Cadi when I lived down in FL.
Busted Jeep is what is left of it after I got done taking a mattock pick to it. I beat on it until I broke the head off the pick & finished beating on it with the handle. I beat on it so much I could hardly lift my arms the next day.
Why? Corey and I was pushing it up a hill when the clutch exploded and it blew through the floor, hood and every place else it could go. A piece of the Bell housing came through the floor and nipped my boy in the arm, nicking his artery. It was a scary few minutes after that.
After we got back from the ER is when I lost it on the Jeep.
Corey's first day of school with stitches from the clutch explosion. He's holding the piece of bellhousing that cut him. I still have it.

Re: Anyone have any OLD pics of what they drove?
Here's our '93 Honda Accord LX...5-speed and we got 33-34 mpg with it at well over 200K on the clock. Got it for $100 a it needed a clutch. Good dependable car.
Our '90 VW Jetta Wolfsburg edition...was a terrific car for us. We averaged 38-39 mpg with it and got it up to 110mph chasing down F-Bodys on the highway once. Affectionately called 'The Kraut Wagen' by all who knew it.
'90 Ford F-150 XL...was the plow rig we had up in Alaska Had the 300-six in it with an auto. I added a tranny cooler and fixed a few minor things and it was a decent plow rig.

Ex through all my photo albums out in the rain. The only one I have pics. of is my 53 I had in High School, and that's only because my dad and mom had copies.

Re: Anyone have any OLD pics of what they drove?
to make extra money over the years, and still today, I do other work, here is a 1950 Caddy Fleetwood I did for a guy at Cincinnati Milicron, he paid me, in ADVANCE...and bought my 24 x 40 Pole Barn Kit at 84 Lumber....took 2-1/2 years to do the car, during it, the inerior guy got himself Killed in a Rock Crawler...Kurt McNew known as Bigfoot in Batavia....new owner of his shop agreed to finish the job, even though, he never got a dime, that's the deal he made with the widow, he finished the work in the shop FREE...and she gave him the business.....50 peices rechomed on that grill alone, had to paint all the emblems, they didn't re-pop them in 1988...in the Background is a 1974 E100 I traded to Ted TC Fairlane....for his 1969 Falcon Wagon....I drove Vans...till 1988....
Re: Anyone have any OLD pics of what they drove?

Re: Anyone have any OLD pics of what they drove?
A good deal of my older cars were not shot with digital pics so until they are scanned I've only got a few more to add...
1986 Pontiac Trans Am WS6...affectionately called 'Roadcone'. This was bought for me in Alaska in June 2007. It was an oddball factory car as it had the instrument cluster for a TPI car and a3.08 posi which was never available in '86 (only in '85). Best I could tell was that it was an early year build and got a 'leftover' '85 rearend. Factory Recaro-optioned black/gold TA with base LG4 305 and auto trans. I wanted to bring it back with us but we needed the money to move back. It was a fun car and I put a lot of elbow grease into it to get it looking respectable.
One more to come...

Re: Anyone have any OLD pics of what they drove?
Here was my daily after I fixed up my Hardtop, bought it in Hamilton for $500, the wiring was a mess, but some may or maynot know, I am an Electrican by trade, I was IBEW but they couldn't keep me working, and I just didn't enjoy doing the work.....
Re: Anyone have any OLD pics of what they drove?
Don't you just love what we use to pay for cars? $500.00??? I remember buying $50.00 cars that would run with just a set of plugs or something cheap. I got a 67 Mustang with a wrecked fender and bumper that ran for $35.00 one time and the guy towed it to my house! I miss those days!

the green Pinto, on the DS I bought for $75.00 and drove it two years..2.0L 4 speed....had to stop at the Junk Yard and bought a rack for it, it would only turn right....paid $25.00 for the rack...it was my gas milage car, I have had many "drivers" Pinto's and Vega's, I didn't take pictures of any of those cars.....

Re: Anyone have any OLD pics of what they drove?
May 1985...I bought this on Colerain Ave....350, Muncie 4 speed, OPEN headers, There used to be a Motorcycle shop that sold 1 or 2 year old NEW bikes cheap over there, dude told me he wanted to get his new Honda out of Layaway, and owed $900 so I offered him that, and he took it!!! I put Rally Wheels and new BFG's and new dauls, my buddy Charlie wanted it, so I let him have it for what I had in it...$1300....That's why I like Amy's wagon so much!!! one of 2 tri-five wagon's I have had.....
Re: Anyone have any OLD pics of what they drove?
traded the 74 van to Ted TC Fairlane, I have known him going on 30 years....This was my 1st Falcon Wagon, 69, 302, PS, Auto, AC, I had it stripped to bare metal, and had painted, I rebuilt a 400 Pontiac motor for a dude, for the paint job.....Good Driver, had Flo's (my baby) baby seat in the back....She went everywhere with me....
Re: Anyone have any OLD pics of what they drove?
Bought a 1976 chevette for 15 bucks off the alcoholic down the road. (he needed drinking money) Drove it for a year, then windowed the block. Sold it to a girl for 90 bucks, she had crashed hers and needed the body.

Re: Anyone have any OLD pics of what they drove?
That's was a deal!
There was a guy here in Newport that had a 76 Chevette with a 350 in it. It had stock manifold on it turn around backwards so the exhaust dumped in the front and then ran back. I never seen the car get on it but it looks like it would have been fun.
