Thanksgiving Empty Thanksgiving

Post by extenzegrl November 22nd 2012, 12:43 am

Just wanted to take this opportunity to express how grateful I am. There are so many things in my life that I am thankful for, I do not know where to begin. First I am thankful for each new day I spend on this earth. I am thankful for my handsome son, and how loving he is, he has such a great heart. I am thankful that my parents are always there for me even though we don't see eye to eye all the time. I am thankful for everyday that Lord gives me with my family and for all the answered prayers for my dad. I am thankful for Randy and how much he loves me and Wyatt and never asks for anything and would give me the world if I wanted it and he could give it. I am thankful that I am able to be free in this country and I can exercise my rights if need be. I am thankful for all Military who have served and are serving so that I can keep these freedoms. I am thankful for every little thing that happens to me even if at that moment I don't understand its meaning. I am thankful that God loves me just the way I am, even if I haven't found my purpose on this earth I know there is a grander plan. I am thankful that I have great friends who I can count on and they know they can count on me. I am thankful that I am a scrounger and that within this group I have a surrogate family. I am thankful that I can laugh at myself and I can make people laugh. I am thankful for unanswered prayers, God's plan rules. I am thankful that each night I have a warm bed to lie in and a roof over my head. I am thankful that I have food on my table. I am thankful for my life. Happy Thanksgiving.... Enjoy, Reflect and Give thanks. (AND EAT SOME TURKEY)
