Thanksgiving
I hope everone has a wonderfull Thanksgiving.
Even in tough times we still need to be thankful for living in the greatest country on earth and all the blessings the Lord has given us.

Re: Thanksgiving
I had a great thanksgiving eating a chicken sandwich outside at Hooters in Daytona with a cold beer thinking about all who were stuck up here in the cold.

Re: Thanksgiving
It went through the mountains easier with the 3.00 gears but I noticed the motor spinning a little more then I thought it would at 70,my 65 custom 500 has a 302 and 3.00 gears and its spinning a bit at 70 and so was the 351 even though it has a longer stroke then the 302,I was hoping it would have been similar to my wagon that had a 390 and 3.00 gears as it seemed like it was just above idle at 70. Gas mileage did not go down since it has a cam that starts going in at around 2000 rpms and might have went up like I was thinking since it did not have to work as hard, with all the changes the speedo went from 15 mph slow to it being 3 too fast so a one more tooth speedo gear should have it on the money. I hope everyone had a good thanksgiving and I will be going again next year so if anyone want to come along start planning now,I am glad I went to visit a friend that lives near Orlando as his health is failing and that had to put him in the hospital friday so I got a chance to see him if he is not around next year.Arieldouglas wrote:So how did the new rear end work out?
