Windshield Bracket Tech
Come up with a design you like, trace it our on paper, thin cardboard
Trace it to your steel, I'm using 1 x 2 1/2 rec. tubing.
Whittle it out, using what ever you have bandsaw, cut off wheel, plasma cutter.. I used a 4" electric grinder and dressed it out with my belt sander.
Create a template for the foot of the bracket, set your angle, mine is set at 80 degree's., I also drew a bunch of circles on them triying to come up with a speed hole design I liked..Once i found a design i broke out the dial caliper's and measured, marked and started drilling....

Bolt pattern is different, I think yours is either 6 lug or a tiny 5 on 4 1/4" These are plymouth 5 on 4 1/2 but if your getting rid of them let me know I seem to collect old rims around here..

Re: T Modified on the cheap!
Same as last time a big pile of parts....
I did get the chrome front-end together (bolted together, by no means complete) and hope to get the front of the frame finished to mount it soon.. Maybe after x-mas I will have a roller, then I will roll itoutside for some pic's but nothing to see as of yet...

Re: T Modified on the cheap!
Just got back from getting my front tires mounted (yhea I know about time...) If I can find a few moments of free time this weekend after the father and son Chili Cook Off at School followed up with his basketball game tonight, and between the indoor soccer game and the Volleyball game and my beautiful wife's grandmothers Birthday on Sunday and the V-twin Dealer Expo on Saturday,I hope to get the front-end mounted up. All I have to do is move a dusty old Harley, about 4 or 5 Bicycles, a roll of insulation, a hardtop to my TOYO FJ-40, 3 doors to my brothers Fj-40 A roll of insulation 2 skateboards 3 dead batteries 2 small block chevys and assorted sizes of Plywood and what ever few odd's and ends have found home either on or around the T and then I can actually start back on it.. Pic's to follow...yhea right...

Re: T Modified on the cheap!
So you got two rolls of insulation? Be careful and lift with your legs or you'll be getting more drywall screws

I can assure you that you anything I have done to that car is nothing that has'nt been done to it before in its life.. Except for maybe the beer fueled field donuts in the pouring rain at the Road Rocket Rumble year before last.. Besides its only a car... Right? And remember its a 50 footer.....

He sold it off piece by piece. I ended up with the chrome front axle. I put it under a 33 Dodge

I have had that thought for a long time. They still have some speed goodies for an Iron Duke floating around. Those little engine ran good for what they were and grabbed some really good MPG's
