Paint the clear satin real good then hit it with some scotch brite pads. To me there's a line where the patina crosses and it's just junk. Maybe it's because I haven't had anything really nice in about 25 years. I didn't know that Reb's truck was supposed to be fake patina, I thought it was just a fade job sorta on the lines like Gene Winfield except it was in primer instead of paint due to the cost.

Probably most of the pups on here wouldn't know, I know you do. If not ask John B. He probably knows him personally.

You know I know who he is and you are right some young pups may not. I take nothing away from Gene. Not sure if I'd put my fake spray bomb tricks up saying they are close to a Winfield Fade. If that's the case Gene better get a new job.

It'll take a long time for those heavy steel fenders and panels to wither to "dust".

Re: 1948 Ford COE Project Bull Dog
COE work continues....Welded up front window area that was rusted away, used pieces from the GMC donor truck, Tom Ratliff and I installed the new Tinted rear window and new rubber....smoothing out the insides a bit before I install the new front tinted window and all new tinted side glass as well.....look close in the last picture, you can see missing channel in front window....due to rust..
