Re: Photo of the day
Oh wow Chris. I wouldn't even dream of putting tools in that one. Very nice!
I don't think most would have a clue what this would mean coming from one of the kids unless they were car nuts.

I was blown away, and no it won't ever see a tool. He was my garage buddy for many years, and he is a huge gear head. His current projects are his 72 Challenger, and 13 Charger.

Re: Photo of the day
I hope he's just test fitting that back piece as a filler, and not making the door that long.

Re: Photo of the day
That's a picture from the tv series "Fantomworks" on Velocity TV.
That car was used for a Wounded Wheels project, they cut the back like that and it swings out and then a wheel chair ramps comes out.
I watched the show, they actually made an update from that pic as they made it one long door that slides out and then wheel chair ramp/door assembly drops out and down to ground. Guy rolls WC up ramp, locks in, then the door/ramp all raises and slides up and in, then guy drives with hand controls. It looked better than that pic.

Re: Photo of the day
That's wild. I thought they where just using that as a filler to convert to a two door.

Re: Photo of the day
That one is kind of designed for WC to be a passenger. On the TV Show, there was no driver's seat as the person driving was in his wheelchair. 2nd design looked much cooler, but doesn't seem they ever updated website after this first design.

Re: Photo of the day
our car show this year is a benefit for the wounded warriors project,
I can tell you first hand they do so much for our heroes coming home, not just for the ones with physical scares

Re: Photo of the day
While I'm not that old I can relate to this picture. I can't tell you how many times I'd fire up my Saturday night special the was a little too noisy and a little too unsafe to go cruising on Dream Street in Florence, Ky. Before I'd leave mom would give me that look and tell me to stay out of trouble. "You end up in jail I'm not coming to get you!" LOL.. What was sad is she was right. First time I got arrested was in Newport for doing burnouts on Monmouth St. and be less than nice to the police officer. I remembered what she said to me so when they offered to let me call someone I told them I'd just stay there. I did not call her.
