Love all these, but this one is a Desoto. Can't miss that iconic toothy grille. Also, it says "Desoto" right on the nose! Hahaha just bustin' your chops! Great pics.

Is that a "gold tooth displayed"? I'm hearing ZZ Top's "I'm Bad I'm Nationwide".

Your right Hellvis, If It was a snake it would have bit me. I just picked up the caption without reading it first. It's ok to bust my chops, when I'm wrong I'm wrong.
Thanks I'll change it.
I thought It was a pretty bitchin' touch with the gold tooth in the grille

Hey Hellvis
I went back to Hot Rod Magazine to look at the article named "The Derelict" about what I thought was a '52 Chrysler Town & Country, well it turns out that it is a Chrysler Town & Country but with a twist it's a '52 Chrysler Town & Country wagon with a '52 DeSoto front clip. I wonder what was wrong with the Chrysler front clip?
Oh well just in case anyone wanted to know.

Re: Cars with Patina
Hi Reb Stew
I started the dismantling process when I suffered a heart attack in December and on March 8th I received a pacemaker and a defibrillator. According to my heart specialist I sustained 70-75 percent damage to the heart,
now both valves are leaking and i'm not getting enough
oxygenated blood flow to my brain which causes me to get very tired which causes me to sleep a lot, other than that i'm just fine.
This affords me time to be on my computer to share photos with you all.

I KNOW WHERE YOUR COMING FROM WITH THE DAMAGE AND THE TIREDNESS. i MAY HAVE A LITTLE HIGHER PERCENTAGE LEFT BUT AT THE END OF AN 8 TO 9 HOUR DAY I'M POOPED, PLUS I HAVE A FEW OTHER BREATHING ISSUES. JUST GOTTA KEEP PLUGGING MAN. YOUR OUT THERE IN PARADISE WITH THAT WAGON. SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD TO ME. I LOOKED ON THE MAP, HOW FAR ARE YOU FROM THE OCEAN?

Nice. I guess it's not too shocking though. All that stuff from the Desotos, Plymouths, Dodges, and Chryslers mixes and matches super easy. I even bought a Chrysler dash to put in my Dodge, because it has a way cool gauge cluster with arched bubble glass like an old jukebox. It bolts up perfect, but I ended up liking the Dodge dash a ton after I cleaned it up. Of course, I now have a real cool Chrysler dash that I don't know what to do with.

Re: Cars with Patina
Maybe you could make a way cool piece of art out of it.
Then hang it up on your garage wall and when your friends
come over maybe they'll want you to make one for them
and you will have discovered a new source of income.
just a thought

1952 Chevrolet Business Coupe. The same guy that built this '52 also built the
'52 Chrysler Town & Country with the '52 Desoto front clip.
