Re: 72 datsun 1200
been doing alot of small things here and there lately on the car, cut fender wells to fit the bigger wheels, made a few blockoff plates for the removed egr, pulled the rear seats out, cleaned up some wiring, put an electric fan in the car and ran the wiring for it today, coundnt run the stock fan because it hit the radiator. now to hook up the switch and make a plate to mount it to and the cigaret lighter to.

Looking good, for some reason that thing just looks to me like it's just screaming for a cowl induction hood scoop.

it had been pouring rain before i took that pic i wanted to go find a empty parking lot, but i cant play in it yet because the tires scrub the fender wells and it cuts them. but i did go play on the mountain in it tonight, it handles better off road and on dirt roads than highway.

Re: 72 datsun 1200
I remember those days. When I was 16 I had a front wheel drive VW Rabbit that I jacked up and ran studded snow tires on the front so I could go through the trails down by the river. It wouldn't go through any deep ditches but it would go up any hill I could find.

Re: 72 datsun 1200
i havent done to much to the car here lately, for the most part ive been driving and playing in it and loving every second of it! i did start to try and massage some of the dent out of the rear quarter panel, next im going to see how much of the passenger floor pan needs to be replaced.
i cleaned up the old intake manifold from the original motor.
after spraying it with cleaner and scrubing
and finished
after cleaning it off and getting it ready to go on the car i realized the newer engines had a different manifold...... poop
but i have a few more shots of the car lol.
