The Phoenix - Page 2 15-1 With it being a little cooler out i decided to work on the ta a little a good braker bar and a can of wd-40 , and i cant forget throw in a dr pepper, the stock intake on this thing felt like lifting a ton of bricks the new intake and four barrel was almost half the weight, also i got the manifold off the passanger side with no bolts broke ? it looks like it would be easier to take out the drivers side engine bolt and jack up that side to get to the drivers side manifold reb you would know would it be more work? here is what it looks like after todays work session wonder how that old 350 will run with the set of hedmans and this eldebrock and 4 barrel,,,,,,The Phoenix - Page 2 16-1

got up this morning everybody was asleep went out and started working on the ta took all brackets, alt , sprayed two bottles of degreaser on the motor and taped everything up wen it was finished drying i gave everything a fresh coat of pontiac blue , wen it was all dry scraped my heads and put on my new intake gaskets and intake, Then i tackled the drivers side manifold I gave up half the day jacking up the motor untill the manifolds finally gave up, ha i win no bolts broken, put new plugs in and started to put the carb on only to find out advance had given me the wrong gasket so i sanded down a set of valve covers gave them a new coat of blue and then sanded the fins The Phoenix - Page 2 Holley1 what you think reb, i think they turned out good ,THANK YOU all i have to do now is finish the headers and carb

They just opened a new advance by my house which I love because it means no more trips here and there to get parts, so far they have giving me wrong intake gaskets, wrong carb gaskets, and sold me a set of valve covers that they assured me would fit on the pontiac, does it really confuse people when i say I have a pontiac 350 I mean all the numbers are in the computer all they have to do is hit the correct button ,,, guess I will be driving around still looking for gaskets or wait till they come in 3 to 5 days, this sucks

worked on the car today went to advance and picked up a new starter, stopped by to say hi to steve, got home put everything together all looking nice and pretty. hit the key nothing. I was so mad this car is cursed beyond belief. I get out take a break and bout half hour later I go back out rip off my harness and throw my old one back on no wire loom just wires running from the firewall to the dizzy, alt and batt laying on top of my tire, I hook up the ground cable and walk to the door, put the key in it and she turns over, i get back out cause i noticed the carb spitting, so i pulled out my haynes (again thank you reb} and made sure all my wires on the dizzy were right i had 2 backwards fixed them and got back in the car hit the key and she fired right up, called it a night cause it was about ten then, .the car is alot quieter with these hedmans on it, but it is one step closer for the run just need to put my throttle cable and kickdown on and the doghouse and some sort of exhaust corey do you still have those short stubby mufflers you tried to put on kyles mustang if so what you want for them, ill post up a video of it running tom.
