Re: Too late to turn back now !!!!!
NOW you've done it!... DOUBLE TRIPLE< DOUBLE AGAIN<TRIPLE 4 TIMES the DOUBLE again.... All your measurements!!!!!!! Your at the point of no return..lol Check your wheel base, your levelness of the frame (if thats a word) just to make sure that your wheels line up in side the finders right, nothing worse than a sub job that is'nt positioned right.. What are you gonna do for your steering set up???using the column from the s-10? just make sure all your measuremnts work out, looks like you may have cut one side of the frame a little deeper than the other, just becareful, this is just an observation. Not being critical just wanna make sure you our on the right path. There are a few guys on here than can give you some pointers, BIG DOG STEVE, BLUE EYED DEVIL
that have probably done this before instead of some hillbilly hack from Boone County.. If you have any questions call me..OH and remember clean metal makes for a good weld, practice practice practice your welding your LIFE is in your hands when you tackle a job like this. Patch panels is one thing, frame/steering/sub-frame work is another.. Good luck. Just an observation/opinion tell me to stick it, take it, or put it in the bottom of your bird cage, just don't wanna see anybody get hurt..

Re: Too late to turn back now !!!!!
the driver sid eis less than 1/16 off in the cut but i left myself some room so i could use the sanding wheels to make everything perfect and even. took more measurments than i can count and even took notes and pictures. the levelness im not sure due to the complete geomotry will be different, i have a new rear end as well. so from here on out just have to make sure everything comes out right.
the welding is your job Ryan. its in your hands. lol i move freight i cant weld!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol
thanks for looking out
