I was out looking for (and finding) more old Vw junk and spotted a 46-ish four door Plymouth sitting in the yard at Hardintown Salvage. It's just about complete and looks like it could be brought back to life but they said they couldnt sell me the whole car. the price on the engine and tranny was $250, no guarantees. it's sitting next to a pair of corvairs, a beetle shell, a Vw bus (steering box intact I think), and around there somewhere there's the shell of a 65 Mustang with not much left on it.

It's right off 275 at the Lawrenceburg/Greendale Exit. Know anyone needing parts?

Question Did they give any reason why they couldn't sell the whole car? That sounds weird.

Is the bus an early split window style? If so I would be interested in the box...

No explanation on why they can't, whenever I go back I'll find out.

The bus is a '68, one year too late. If it was a split window I would have found a way to get it out of there a year ago when it came in.
